Dedicated to achieving excellent performance, Kia has included two powertrains options on the 2014 Optima: a 2.4L GDI four-cylinder and 2.0L GDI turbo engine. Both selections feature direct injection and are paired with a six-speed automatic transmission, but the 2.0L engine is only available on SX models.
