Kia offers the new K5 in five trim grades: LXS FWD, GT-Line FWD, GT-Line AWD, GT, and EX. The well-equipped LXS FWD trim will appeal to many drivers. Its 12.3-inch touchscreen is among the largest standard displays in the class. Other highlights include remote start, dual-zone automatic climate control, and wireless smartphone connectivity.

Distinctive body styling gives the GT-Line FWD trim an even more aggressive look. Some of the interior features include a flat-bottom sport steering wheel, a power driver's seat, and SynTex upholstery. While the GT-Line AWD trim is similarly equipped, its all-wheel drive system enhances traction during inclement weather.

From a performance standpoint, the exhilarating GT trim sits atop the lineup. Aside from packing more muscle under the hood, it also receives a sports-tuned suspension and upgraded steering for enhanced handling.

While the upscale EX trim goes without the GT trim's performance upgrades, it does boast some exclusive luxury features. A panoramic sunroof, a 12-speaker Bose sound system, and ventilated front seats are all included.

How Much Horsepower Does the 2026 K5 Have?

Most trims come equipped with a lively 2.5-liter, four-cylinder engine. It's rated to develop 191 horsepower and 181 lb-ft of torque. An eight-speed automatic transmission feeds power to the wheels. You can also adjust the car's driving character using Drive Mode Select. Motivating the more performance-focused GT trim is a 2.5-liter, turbo four-cylinder engine. Kia tunes it to crank out an exhilarating 290 horsepower and 311 lb-ft of torque.
