Over 20 Northwest Automotive Press Association journalists recently gathered in Snoqualmie, Washington, for the NWAPA's annual "Mudfest" competition - where a number of cars are evaluated on a variety of courses and awarded based on their performance - and we're happy to announce that the 2015 Kia Sorento took first place in the "Best Family Vehicle" category! Originally up against six different competitors, the Sorento blazed past the pack thanks to its incredible performance and proved why it's one of the most highly acclaimed CUVs in America.
Sophisticated and fuel efficient, the 2015 Kia Sorento comes with an array of high-end features, including a panoramic sunroof, a power liftgate, ventilated front seats, Bluetooth, SiriusXM Satellite Radio and an eight-inch touchscreen display. It's offered in four trim levels; LX, EX, SX and SX Limited, and comes backed by either a 3.3L GDI V-6 engine or a 2.4L GDI four-cylinder engine. Available now at Camelback Kia, the 2015 Sorento is Kia's most advanced model yet and it continues to be a leader in its segment.
"The U.S.-built Sorento is one of Kia's most popular vehicles and sports dynamic and sophisticated design elements, inside and out," said Michael Sprague, executive vice president of sales and marketing, Kia Motors America. "Winning the Best Family Vehicle by NWAPA is further validation of the Sorento's appealing blend of all-around style and capability with an abundance of safety features."
