On October 29, 2025, the NBA announced that it would renew its partnership with Kia America and throw in partnerships with the WNBA and NBA G League as well. This is a win-win for both the world's premier basketball leagues and Kia, too. The recent announcement means more NBA, WNBA, and G League events, all with Kia's generous contributions and leadership leading the way.

At the end of the 2025 model year, Kia announced that it would retire the spunky Soul from its vehicle lineup.
