The Jingle Bell Run is back this holiday season and folks around the Valley once again have the chance to run in a fun 5K and give back to their community. Taking place on Saturday, Dec. 19, 2015, the race is the perfect way to get into the holiday spirit.

Put on by 4 Peaks Racing, the Jingle Bell Run benefits the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation, which will collect new, unwrapped toys from runners and walkers who wish to participate in the 5K. All participants are encouraged to dress up for the race by wearing Christmas colors and tying jingle bells to their shoes. Runners will even be able to compete against the 4 Peaks Racing Santa, who will be jogging right alongside everyone this year.

Folks can register online up until 7 p.m. on Dec. 18 and in person on the day of the race – though we do recommend registering early to get a better admission price. Walkers and runners will be given a timing chip, so they can see what their final time through the race is. There will also be a Kid’s Dash that is a free ½ mile run for the younger runners in your family.
