The Kia Sportage is getting some fun new updates this model year. The compact crossover is a popular CUV model that many Phoenix residents have chosen for their family car. This year, the CUV gets some nice additions that give it even more of a premium feel.

Available in three trim levels: LX, EX and SX, the Sportage continues to offer plenty of space, utility and tech features. Looking through the changes and updates on these trims, the LX Popular Package gets a new touchscreen display and new auto on/off headlamps. The EX trim adds Smart Key with push-button start and leather-trimmed upholstery as standard, while the EX Premium Package adds front foglights, integrated turn signals in the side mirrors, a cooled glove box and the Infinity Premium audio system. The SX gets these updates as well, along with a turbocharged engine, LED daytime running lamps, aluminum door-scuff plates and unique wheels.

Under the hood, the Sportage keeps its two engine options for 2016: the 2.4-liter GDI inline four-cylinder and the 2.0-liter GDI turbocharged inline four-cylinder. All-wheel-drive capabilities continue across all three trims, while the six-speed automatic transmission remains standard as well.

The 2016 Kia Sportage is now at Camelback Kia. For more information about this newest version of the Sportage and to take it for a test drive, stop by our Phoenix Kia dealership today!
