The Bloomin’ Beerfest is back and beer lovers across the Valley will be heading to the Irish Cultural Center in Phoenix. Happening Saturday, June 13, 2015 at 7 p.m., the Bloomin’ Beerfest features a host of specialty beers from Ireland and Arizona, as well as Irish music provided by Seanachie and the Irish Cultural Center Academy Band.
Among the many activities at this year's Beerfest, attendees will be able to hear a special reading of James Joyce’s “Ulysses” by the ICC Academy Reader Theatre. Food and drinks will also be available for purchase. The Bloomin’ Beerfest has been a favorite downtown Phoenix event for nearly a decade. It’s a perfect opportunity to learn more about local and international beers, as well as Irish history and culture.
We highly recommend this terrific community event in Phoenix. Admission to the event is $25 pre-sale or $35 at the gate. Dogs are welcome at this year’s festival, but organizers strongly suggest leaving the kids at home.
