Local AZ brew masters, SanTan Brewing, are once again presenting their AmeriCAN Canned Craft Beer Festival at the Scottsdale Civic Center on May 16, 2015. Celebrating its 5th year, the Canned Craft Beer Festival highlights many excellent craft beers and their growing popularity in the U.S.
According to the fest’s organizers, “The 5th Annual AmeriCAN Canned Craft Beer Festival is dedicated to the craft beer in a can.”
Craft beer lovers has long been noticeably picky about craft beers in a can, but SanTan and other breweries are looking to change that stigma by showing off the terrific taste and accessibility that comes with canned craft brews. This year’s festival will include live entertainment, an awards ceremony, craft food, a nano beer garden, a beer Olympics and, of course, over 250 craft beers from breweries around Arizona and the U.S.
Local Arizona breweries participating in the festival include SanTan Brewing, Four Peaks Brewing, Grand Canyon Brewery, Lumberyard Brewing, Barrio Brewing Company, Mudshark Brewery, Phoenix Ale Brewery and Sleepy Dog Brewery.
