The all-new 2015 Kia Sedona received a big endorsement last month, winning Cars.com’s Ultimate Minivan Challenge.
The Sedona was tested along with other top-performing minivans, including the Toyota Sienna and Honda Odyssey. Put on by both Cars.com and Motorweek, the challenge is a multi-day comparison test, where automotive experts analyze the vans to see what would be the best option for car shoppers looking for their next family van.
“The all-new Kia Sedona is a champion of quality and refinement,” said Patrick Olsen, Cars.com editor-in-chief. “A great ride combined with a quiet cabin and numerous innovative features made the Sedona an obvious selection as the ultimate minivan.”
Among the many challenges that the minivan faced was a 135-mile course on various types of roads to help jurors determine actual fuel economy, handling and ride comfort. It was also judged on its technology, powertrains and interior features.
This is not the first award to come the Sedona’s way. The popular minivan has also earned J.D. Power’s APEAL award. It was also honored on Ward’s 10 Best Interiors list.
