
One of the Phoenix areas most beloved local events, the Waste Management Phoenix Open, is returning to the Valley starting on Sunday, Jan. 30, 2017.
“The Waste Management Phoenix Open is the best-attended golf tournament in the world and has gained legendary status for being the most unique stop on the PGA TOUR…The 2017 edition will mark the 82nd playing of the event (one of the five oldest events on the PGA TOUR) and the eighth as the Waste Management Phoenix Open,” said a recent press release.
Hosting some of the largest crowds on the famous PGA Tour, the Waste Management Open offers a terrific time for sports lovers who are looking to see some of the best in the business in action. According to organizers, some of golf’s favorite players will be attending the Open, including Rickie Fowler, Keegan Bradley, Bubba Watson and the legendary Phil Mickelson.
