Federal EV Tax Credit & Home Charger Incentive Changes
The federal government is adjusting its electric vehicle incentive programs. The Clean Vehicle Credit, which can reduce your tax liability by up to $7,500, is set to expire on September 30, 2025, unless extended by Congress. The tax credit for installing a home EV charger will end shortly after, on June 30, 2026.
