What's New For The Kia Telluride?

The 2020 Kia Telluride is an all-new midsize crossover SUV, and it represents a completely new direction for the automaker. For one thing, it's the biggest crossover Kia has ever made, with more passenger and cargo space than even the Sorento. Outside, its sharp modern styling is meant to turn heads. Inside, there's plenty of space for either seven or eight passengers, depending on whether your Telluride features second-row captain's chairs. Under the hood, you'll find generous power for towing the family boat. This all-new crossover offers a wide range of amenities, so you can make it as luxurious as your budget allows.

2020 Telluride Trims & Features

Choose from four Kia Telluride trim levels: the entry-level LX, mid-grade S, upscale EX, and top-of-the-line SX. The LX starts you off with everything you need for a safe, modern drive. This includes complete smartphone integration with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto capabilities. This technology displays smartphone apps, such as your maps and music apps, on the 8-inch central touchscreen. The LX also comes standard with modern safety features, such as forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, and rear parking sensors. The standard selectable drive modes let you adjust transmission settings to suit your preferred ride, whether you want to conserve fuel or maximize speed.

Upgrade to the Telluride S for sporty features like roof rails and 20-inch wheels. The sunroof gives the cabin a little extra pizzazz. The S is also a little more comfortable, with a power-adjustable driver's seat and heated front seats. The S comes standard with second-row captain's chairs, but you can always add the second-row bench seat as an option if you need seating for eight.

The Telluride EX is a classy choice. Outside, this Telluride looks stunning with its LED taillights. Inside, it's brimming with luxury features, from the three-zone automatic climate control system to the rich leather upholstery. Up front, the seats are both heated and ventilated. The infotainment system even gets an upgrade, with a 10.3-inch touchscreen and an extra USB charge port. The driver voice amplifier projects your voice to rear-seat passengers, so your kids can always hear what you have to say. There's even a Quiet Mode, which silences the rear speakers so passengers can take a nap back there.

The Telluride SX represents all the luxury Kia has to offer. Inside, you'll find dual sunroofs and ambient lighting to set the mood. The second-row captain's chairs offer long-term comfort for your family road trips. The 10-speaker Harman Kardon surround-sound system gives your music collection the luxury treatment. Outside, the SX features LED headlights and foglights. This trim even helps you navigate parallel parking spaces with its surround-view parking camera system.

It's paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission that does a good job of delivering speed on-demand. Front-wheel drive is standard, but shoppers can always choose all-wheel drive for a sporty performance on off-road trails.
