Which Features Are Available for 2021?

Six trim levels are offered for the 2021 Kia Forte. The base trim, which is the FE, has numerous standard features. This trim level includes an infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay integration, and an eight-inch touchscreen display with a rearview camera. You also get a four-speaker audio system and 15-inch wheels finished in steel.

Larger 16-inch wheels with an alloy finish come with the LXS trim as does a standard automatic transmission. Along with these upgrades, the LXS has premium interior trim materials and split-folding seats. The GT-Line adds LED lights all around and fog lights. Heated exterior mirrors are also standard. The interior has sporty cloth-covered seats, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and additional conveniences like a push-button start and keyless entry system. More advanced driver-assist safety aids come with this trim level as well. A sunroof and dual USB charging ports are optional add-on accessories.

The fourth trim, which is the EX, gets wireless device charging as an added convenience. Its seats upgrade to leather upholstery, with both front seats heated and ventilated. The GT receives black leather and cloth upholstery with red stitching for a dramatic finish. You'll also find a flat-bottomed, leather-wrapped steering wheel, performance tires, sport-tuned suspension system, sporty exhaust, and larger 18-inch wheels included. The GT Manual trim adds a power sunroof, a Harman Kardon premium audio system, wireless phone charger, and six-speed manual transmission.

Two engines are offered for the 2021 Kia Forte. The first engine, standard on all but the top GT trims, is a 2.0L four-cylinder that produces 147 HP. The GT models have a turbo engine with a greater power output of 201 HP. The FE trim features a choice of manual or automatic transmissions. All other trim levels come with an automatic transmission with the exception of the GT Manual trim which features a six-speed manual transmission.

The Kia's standard safety aids include lane-keep assist, lane departure warning, forward collision mitigation, and driver attention warning. Additional safety features such as blind-spot collision warning (BCW) and rear cross-traffic collision warning (RCCW) come with the top GT trims.
