What's New For the 2021 Kia Seltos?

Kia introduces a brand new crossover vehicle, the 2021 Seltos. It has a full range of features, including keyless entry, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, 360-degree rear-view cameras, and an 8-inch touchscreen with infotainment. It features fractal-pattern Bose speakers with 8-speakers, 25-inch high-resolution color touchscreen, rear air vent and USB charging, and an adjustable luggage board.

What are the Kia Seltos Trims & Features?

The 2021 Seltos comes with five entry trims: the front-drive S, which includes LED daytime running lights and taillights and a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and gear shift knob. The LX has fewer features but with standard all-wheel-drive. The EX trim comes with automatic climate control, a sound-absorbing front windshield, LED interior lighting, and a wireless phone charger.

The SX Turbo model also includes a 10.25-inch touchscreen, and the Bose audio system has a sound-connected mood lamp, which allows the front door speaker to pulsate and change color with the music's beat. A power sunroof package is offered as an option. The 2021 Kia Seltos is available in solid and two-tone paint colors. Two-tone options are blue/white, blue/black, yellow/black, and white/black, in addition to Black Cherry, Snow White Pearl, Steel Gray, Starbright Yellow, and Mars Orange.

Raw Power and Stellar Performance

The LX is powered by a 2.0-liter four-cylinder pushing out 146 horsepower, and 132 lb-ft of torque. This robust engine has an EPA-rated mileage of 27 in city driving and 31 on the highway. The S Turbo and SX Turbo trims are upgraded to a 175 horsepower 1.6-liter turbo four-cylinder with 195 lb-ft of torque. This trim gets 29 mpg in the city and 34 mpg on the highway. Kia Seltos has an all-wheel-drive system featuring a center locking differential that splits power equally between the front and rear wheels. This allows the car to optimize traction in inclement weather and rugged environments.

2021 Kia Seltos has a Long List of Safety Features

The Seltos comes with a wide variety of safety features, starting with being wrapped in an ultra-high tensile steel frame. Other safety features include forward-collision avoidance assist, lane departure warning, tire pressure monitoring system, front and rear crumple zones, electronic stability control, vehicle stability management, anti-lock braking system, front and rear parking sensors, brake force assist system, hill-start assist control and 4-wheel disc brakes.
