2023 Rio Trims & Features

The Kia Rio is offered in two trim levels: LX and S. Even the more affordable LX trim comes loaded with popular equipment. Kia's modern infotainment unit features an 8.0-inch touchscreen display, which can be wirelessly linked to your smartphone through either Apple Carplay or Android Auto. Bluetooth® wireless technology with audio streaming is also built into the system. Other standard features include heated side mirrors, a USB port, and a backup camera.

If you desire more conveniences, step up to the S trim. It adds remote keyless entry, cruise control, and 60/40 split-folding rear seats. An optional Technology package further upgrades the Rio S. While stylish 15-inch alloy wheels bolster the car's curb appeal, LED headlights with LED positioning lights improve visibility at night. Automatic climate control elevates comfort. Satellite radio, a Smart Key with push-button start, and additional safety technologies are included as well.

An economical 1.6-liter, four-cylinder engine motivates the new Rio. Kia rates it to press out a competitive 120 horsepower and 112 lb-ft of torque. Performance and fuel efficiency are enhanced by an automatic Intelligent Variable Transmission.

What Safety Features Does the 2023 Rio Have?

Some smart safety technologies are available on the 2023 Kia Rio. Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist with Pedestrian Detection can automatically engage the brakes during emergencies.
