  It's basketball season again, and no one is more excited than the folks at KIA America. On October 29, 2025, the NBA announced that it would renew its partnership with Kia America and throw in partnerships with the WNBA and NBA G League as well. This is a win-win for both the world's premier basketball leagues and Kia, too. The recent announcement means more NBA, WNBA, and G League events, all with Kia's generous contributions and leadership leading the way.
Kia Announces Extension of the Multi-Year Partnership
SeungKyu Yoon, also known as Sean, is the President and CEO of Kia North America, and he recently had an inspiring announcement to make. He commented, "Basketball inspires passion, connection, and possibility, values that energize all of us at Kia. As partners and true fans of the game, we're honored to continue our journey with the NBA, WNBA, and NBA G League."
Kia's basketball partners were just as excited to comment on the development. The Chief Growth Officer of the WNBA, Colie Edison, also weighed in on the news: "Kia has been an incredible partner in helping elevate the WNBA's platform and celebrating the excellence of this league. From performance awards to immersive All-Star activations, Kia's continued investment underscores the momentum of our league and the value of women's basketball."
Kia currently has partnerships with an impressive 15 NBA teams and will continue to use those partnerships to elevate NBA, WNBA, and NBA G League basketball. So far, the brand plans to continue to be active with the NBA Skills Challenge, NBA Draft, the "Who Ya Got" social platform, NBA performance awards, and so much more. WNBA teams are just as lucky to have Kia be a part of their performance awards, draft, WNBA Live, and creative endeavors like the "Inside a Kia" content series at AT&T.
