Kia America Extends Multi-Year Partnership With NBA, WNBA, and G League
It's basketball season again, and no one is more excited than the folks at KIA America. On October 29, 2025, the NBA announced that it would renew its partnership with Kia America and throw in partnerships with the WNBA and NBA G League as well. This is a win-win for both the world's premier basketball leagues and Kia, too. The recent announcement means more NBA, WNBA, and G League events, all with Kia's generous contributions and leadership leading the way.
Kia America recently celebrated the sale of one million certified pre-owned vehicles. While selling a million of any type of vehicle is impressive, certified pre-owned car, truck, and SUV sales are meaningful in their own right.
IONNA - the joint venture funded by leading automakers such as BMW, General Motors, Kia, and Honda - recently announced its transition from public beta testing to full-scale national release.
For the second year, Kia America celebrates the holidays with a fundraising drive benefiting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. St. Jude is recognized as a leader in medical research and treatment, and the funds raised will be used to fund treatment and find cures for serious children’s diseases. In 2023, Kia’s event, known as Accelerate the Good, raised $1.35 million. As a result, the automaker was the St. Jude New Corporate Partner of the Year last year.
Kia America has announced that it will donate $500,000 to the American Red Cross. It is in support of Hurricane Ian's relief efforts. The money will help those affected by the hurricane.
