What Are the 2024 Niro Trims & Features?

Kia offers the new Niro in five trim levels: LX, EX, EX Touring, SX, and SX Touring. The entry-level LX trim is arguably the lineup's best value. It comes loaded with many of today's most popular features, including an 8.0-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto smartphone integration and dual-zone automatic climate control.

More upgrades are found on the EX trim. While a power driver's seat makes it easier to obtain the perfect position behind the wheel, technology lovers will enjoy this trim's 10.25-inch HD touchscreen with navigation.

Larger 18-inch alloy wheels and blacked-out exterior details help give the EX Touring trim a special look. It also receives a few other upgrades, including a power sunroof.

Another step up the trim ladder is the Niro SX. While its ventilated front seats enhance comfort on hot days, a Harman Kardon premium sound system elevates your music-listening experience. A hands-free Smart Liftgate and Digital Key 2.0 also come equipped on the SX trim.

Atop the range sits the Niro SX Touring. It's the only trim that receives LED projector headlights. Perforated synthetic leather upholstery gives the interior an upscale touch.

How Much Horsepower Does the 2024 Niro Have?

Motivating this compact crossover is a hybrid powertrain, which develops 139 horsepower and 195 lb-ft of torque. A six-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission helps ensure seamless acceleration. Not only is the new Niro satisfying to drive, but it also ranks among the most efficient models in the class. Regenerative braking technology helps charge the battery while you drive.

What Safety Features Does the 2024 Niro Include?

Smart safety technologies come standard on the new Niro. While Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist can detect potential hazards on the road ahead, Blind-Spot Warning alerts drivers to vehicles outside their field of view. Rear Cross-Traffic Collision-Avoidance Assist and Lane Following Assist also come standard. Available upgrades, such as Navigation-based Smart Cruise Control with Stop & Go, promise to further reduce driving stress.
