The 2023 Kia Niro HEV won the title of Best Vehicle of 2023 on Cars.com, besting four rivals in the process. The best family vehicle of 2023 was named the Kia Carnival. The outlet's newest award category, Best SUV of 2023, was nominated for the 2023 Sorento.
 

 

Kia has developed a great reputation for building well-equipped, robust handling, and powerful electric vehicles. The Kia Niro, Soul and Cadenza were named as segment winners in J.D. Power’s 2017 Automotive Performance, Execution and Layout (APEAL) study.

The all-new Kia Niro was one of four Kia cars named on some of KBB’s latest “Top Eco-Friendly Cars” lists, sharing the honor with the Optima Hybrid, Optima PHEV and Kia Soul EV.
