The Kia Corporation has received a Bronze award at the 2026 International Design Excellence Awards (IDEA) on September 3 in Seoul, South Korea. The award was given for the Kia PV5 Infotainment System in IDEA's Digital Interaction and Social Impact Design categories. Kia's global campaign with The Ocean Cleanup was also named a finalist.

 

Three Kia models recently took home wins in U.S. News & World Report's Best Hybrid and Electric Car Awards. While the 2027 Kia Telluride Hybrid won the Best Midsize Hybrid SUV category, the 2026 Kia Niro Hybrid was named Best Subcompact Hybrid SUV. Meanwhile, U.S. News & World Report crowned the 2026 Kia Sportage PHEV the Best Compact Plug-In Hybrid SUV.
